Disclaimer

I think the skirt would look good in either fabric -!each will have its own look. Maybe use covered buttons for the sew over it fabric and use regular buttons for the blue. Looking forward to seeing which you make. Perhaps both.

Good morning, I like both fabrics, but believe the brown one suits you better. I would shorten it considerably, though. Because of the “von Trapp” factor 😉
Happy sewing! JJ

I would go for the blue fabric, it is lovely.

That blue viscose fabric looks fantastic, so, for the skirt you should choose viscose, in my opinion :)

I would choose the blue fabric. I also really liked the SOI fabric when Lisa made a pencil skirt from it but think it would look to much like curtain fabric in a fuller skirt. I also like the idea of covered buttons. SOI fabric would make a fab fitted dress. Brave girl for the bra let and pants photo, you look fab, especially like the racer back, sadly not for me as need more support😂 Looking forward to sewing weekender. Good luck with the driving course.

I would go for the blue fabric – looks more like turquoise on my screen? Or: go for the other one and send me the blue/turquoise 😉

Blue is lovely with your colouring. Personally don’t like the colours of the other one though it could be the way it works on screen. Was good to meet you in Sewn today!

Hello! I reckon the blue viscose for the skirt and a really modern pattern for the flower fabric to contrast with the print. (I said the same in my youtube comment as ‘jolsa84’ as youtube is being weird and refused to accept my name as a real name!).
