Here we are again, albeit after an interlude. Plenty of sewing goodness from around the interwebs to share with you today, certainly not all of it but some of my favourites. I’ve certainly been doing a lot of swooning.
A few days later than planned — mainly just due to being incredibly busy at work! — but I’m back for another mostly sewing related round-up. There’s been so much going on around the place; the sewing-community-place, that I’ve struggled to keep up, never mind choose! I’ve certainly been swooning a lot. Also, since we had Halloween, I thought I’d add a category for that plus a new Fabric category too.
Well, Taking Stock #1 went down much better than I expected! Thank you all so much for your comments. I’m in two minds whether to change up the image each time. What do you think? For now, I’ve decided to stick with the same one, especially as I don’t have a new one that’s nice.
Anyway, some great content has been cropping up over the interwebs and such over the past month so without further ado…
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? Because surely I can use that as an excuse for borrowing (outright stealing?!) the idea for this blog series from around the blogosphere. There are lots of examples of ‘taking stock’ style posts, mostly featuring a list like this one. But I do much prefer this version from Heather Lou of Closet Case Files.
Since I transitioned over to a sewing/dressmaking blog, rather than my personal blog, I’ve missed sharing my personality as well as my style. So I’ve decided to use Heather Lou’s format as inspiration, I hope she doesn’t mind! Let us begin.
