  1. I think the skirt would look good in either fabric -!each will have its own look. Maybe use covered buttons for the sew over it fabric and use regular buttons for the blue. Looking forward to seeing which you make. Perhaps both.

  2. Good morning, I like both fabrics, but believe the brown one suits you better. I would shorten it considerably, though. Because of the “von Trapp” factor 😉
    Happy sewing! JJ

  3. Lovely plans for the month, I have to finish some unfinished projects before I can start a new one, already looking forward to it 🙂
I would go for the blue fabric, it is lovely.

  4. I really love both of your fabrics, but the SOI fabric would be my choice for going into fall. Thanks for always sharing your ideas with us. Have fun at the sewing weekend!
    (YouTube is just Shirette Johnson)

  5. Hey! (Commenting here as well-YouTube name is Brooklyn Knitfolk Podcast). Said this over there, but I LOVE that Sew Over It fabric! I think it would transition perfectly to fall!

  6. I love the blue green print, think that would look great and hang well as a skirt. It’s great seeing your vlog plans, excited to see your Madalynne simplicity bra too!

  7. I’ve already voted on YouTube (username Grace Horsley). I’d go for the blue-green fabric. Look forward to seeing the finished garment!

  8. I left a comment on youtube, Tatiana Vovchenko. I would choose blue/green viscose for the skirt, and save viscose/linen for a pencil skirt or a fitted dress. Thank you for the giveaway!

  9. I think the turquoise fabric would be nicer. From your tone of voice and mannerisms I got the impression that was the one you preferred!

  10. I would choose the blue fabric. I also really liked the SOI fabric when Lisa made a pencil skirt from it but think it would look to much like curtain fabric in a fuller skirt. I also like the idea of covered buttons. SOI fabric would make a fab fitted dress. Brave girl for the bra let and pants photo, you look fab, especially like the racer back, sadly not for me as need more support😂 Looking forward to sewing weekender. Good luck with the driving course.

  11. Definitely the sew over it fabric and i think covered button in the same fabric would look nice. Look forward to seeing your makes 😊. My you tube user name is Karen Court – very original ha!

  12. I completely new to sewing and your videos are so inspiring especially for a beginner sewer. I love the vibrancy Of The blue fabric the most

  13. Yesss, a book with Patrick Grant on the cover! That’s what I need!

I would go for the blue fabric – looks more like turquoise on my screen? Or: go for the other one and send me the blue/turquoise 😉

  14. Blue is lovely with your colouring. Personally don’t like the colours of the other one though it could be the way it works on screen. Was good to meet you in Sewn today!

  15. Hello! I reckon the blue viscose for the skirt and a really modern pattern for the flower fabric to contrast with the print. (I said the same in my youtube comment as ‘jolsa84’ as youtube is being weird and refused to accept my name as a real name!).
